Some Implicit Hybrid Block Linear Multi-Step Methods for Solution of First Order Ordinary Differential Equations

A M Badmus, Katniyon A. Felix

Abstract

Some efficient implicit k-step block methods were derived for the solution of y= f(x,y) . Interestingly, these methods at k=3 and k=4 were gotten from the generalized continuous formula when evaluating at various grid and off grid points. The numerical experiments on the method k=4 shows its superiority over the method at k=3 for the two problems tested in this research paper.
